'Die Sieben Sachen&' used to be a very popular poem, partly due to the fact that it was performed by Manfred Krug in the GDR in 1965 as part of an event called JazzLyrikProsa (some of whose contents were deemed too critical so that it wasn&';t allowed to run anymore. Successfully resurrected after the wall came down). Recording on JazzLyrikProsa CD, or on YouTube - a must-listen!
