This worksheet generator randomly creates a large number, and then converts it into text. It creates two pages, first one just shows the digits, and a space in which to write, the second has the text. The learner is asked to write the number in words, the correct answer appears on the second page.
It can be used for individual practice, or as a class test, or group exercise. Learners can mark their own work, or swap with a partner, or submit it to the teacher.
This is an essential skill.
The learner is presented with the digits, the answers appear on a separate sheet. The teacher should Print them out in A4 landscape (already set up for you).
Please don’t mess with the blank cells or any of the formatting, it is a complex spreadsheet and will not work in anything less than excel 2007. Blank cells actually contain formulae, in white font. If you want to read it, change all text to black!
