This was a Powerpoint I made trying to help students write lyrics, particularly aimed at making it seem manageable for students who were struggling. There is also a worksheet to accompany this (see 'Writing Lyrics - Worksheet). Examples of the songs were found on Youtube.\n\nThe PowerPoint includes a starter activity asking them to find examples of popular songs from their own knowledge, examples of rhyming schemes and a template for you to model the process for writing lyrics in this method.
