With the current teacher recruitment crisis, attracting high quality candidates to your teacher training programme has never been more important. But how can you ensure you’re using the right methods to reach potential trainees? With the growth of social media and online research, how important is it to attend recruitment events or create print collateral? And how can you ensure that prospective candidates find your course and understand whether it's right for them among the plethora of information that pops up once they type in a search term?

To help you understand how best to go about ITT recruitment today, and the key reasons why trainees choose one provider over another, we collected 897 responses from people all over the UK who are either currently on or have been through initial teacher training within the last two years. They came from a variety of routes, including university, SCITT and School Direct. We asked them how they found researching, enrolling and communicating with their training provider before they started their chosen route and compiled the results and key learnings in our new report How to improve trainee teacher recruitment.

Download our report today for suggestions on how you can improve your processes, stand out from other providers and recruit talented teacher training candidates.
