ITT induction
Over 25 hours of essential preparation ahead of September.
Doing things virtually has now become the norm, not only in how we train teachers but also how we recruit those for September and beyond.
While it's easy enough to swap pull-up banners and leaflets for a PowerPoint delivered via Zoom, some aspects of trainee recruitment and enrolment remain a challenge: in particular their ITT induction, which many of us would normally deliver face-to-face at the start of the summer.
With such uncertainty still remaining, we've created a 100% online ITT induction course that you can roll out to all your future trainees, giving them the essential preparation they need.
* £50 plus VAT per learner based on a minimum cohort size of 25 and a minimum charge of £500 plus VAT. We offer group discount deals for 15+ learners, please get in touch to find out more. Subject to exceptions, VAT will be charged at the rate of 20 per cent.
The course covers key aspects of the Core Content Framework for ITT, providing over 25 hours of online learning that will prepare your trainees with the essential knowledge they need before beginning their training in September.
Sessions are relevant to trainees on both school-led and HEI training programmes across primary and secondary.
The course fee is £20 (plus VAT) per learner, with a minimum charge of £500 (plus VAT). If your cohort size is more than 150 learners, we can discount the amount to £15 (plus VAT) per learner.
All of the induction content has been created by teachers and education professionals. The behaviour management sessions have been written by Tom Bennett, and the e-safety and child protection sessions are from EduCare, part of Tes, a leading provider in safeguarding. Jane Coleman, our School Direct programme director, has overseen the course design and provided content from the induction that we deliver across our School Direct partnerships.
The course is now available. Please complete our expression of interest form or contact laura.brain@tes.com.
