How to set your advert to appear in multiple locations

Available to all subscribers 

Whether you’re a global group, a UK multi-academy trust, a country-wide tuition centre or a school on a county or country border, Tes Staff Management enables you to place your job advert in multiple locations from one vacancy.

How to set your searchable locations

Creating a vacancy from scratch 

1. Select Create a vacancy from the dashboard 

2. Follow the steps outlined when creating a vacancy 

3. Under the Vacancy Questions section, select Searchable location to open a pop-up

4. In the country field, select the relevant country eg the UK

5. In the locale field, select the relevant county, state or province eg South Yorkshire

6. In the location field, select the relevant city or town eg Sheffield

7. Press Save Changes

Adding a searchable location to an open vacancy

1. Select Connect 

2. Find your open vacancy from the dashboard 

3. Press the setting gear 

4. Press edit 

5. Scroll to the Vacancy Questions section and select Searchable location to open a pop-up

6. In the country field, select the relevant country eg the UK 

7. In the locale field, select the relevant county, state or province eg South Yorkshire

8. In the location field, select the relevant city or town eg Sheffield 

9. Press Save Changes

10. Save your vacancy

How to override your default display location

Please note: your Default Location is informed by the location you have set in your school settings.

1. Select Create a vacancy from the dashboard or edit your chosen open vacancy

2. Follow the steps outlined when creating a vacancy

3. Under the Vacancy Questions section, press the Display location text box

4. Delete your default location 

5. Type in your new location 

6. Create or save your vacancy
