Contact referee details directly: If a candidate does not provide a completed reference upon application but provides referee details, reach out to the provided referee details directly from within the ATS. Click a button to trigger an email and send a form. Once the referee fills in the form, the candidate’s profile is automatically upgraded.

New application tab: Access the new application tab from the candidate’s profile and view the application details including their cover letter, answers to a school’s custom questions and quick details such as name, country of birth, years of professional experience, highest qualification and earliest availability.

Download the complete application including the cover letter: If a school has requested a candidate supply a cover letter, the cover letter will be added to the consolidated long form or short form download.

Date of birth field is available for background checks (UK): A candidate’s date of birth will be visible when a school moves a candidate to the shortlist stage or higher.

Simplified dual-responsibility weighting: when creating a vacancy, it is easier for schools to outline how roles with dual responsibilities are weighted

Simplified candidate search: a clearer view of candidate suitability when using candidate search

Tes Jobs search enhancements: Increased the accuracy of search results with an updated search engine. Candidates have higher candidates of finding your job.

Improved search interface on Tes Jobs: New interface for Tes Jobs that makes finding jobs and saving job alerts more specific and easier for customers. This is being rolled out in stages.

Increased number of international currencies available to advertise: All users can now list their salaries in 99 new currencies including Swiss Franc (CHF), Saudi Riyal (SAR), Qatari Riyal (QAR), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), Thai Baht (THB), Vietnamese Dong (VND), Japanese Yen (JPY), Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and Singapore Dollar (SGD).

Salary display improvements: Salary ranges are now consistently displayed across Tes Jobs and within the ATS.

Improve school banners on the School Pages within the ATS: Career pages now place the banner image above the name of the school.

Consolidated downloads – short form: All users can download a candidate’s application in one file.

Consolidated downloads – long form: All users can download a candidate’s application in one file. Long form contains more detail.

(UK) Equal opportunity data changes: When a user downloads a candidate’s application as a pdf, all identifying information concerning third-parties or dependents is removed regardless of the candidate’s application stage.

Improved search functionality on Tes Jobs: Users can now search for their job via postcode in Tes Jobs.

Search improvements: Backend development for Tes Jobs for a more seamless job posting experience.

Performance improvements: Continued improvements to the performance of the Applicant Tracking System.

Improved candidate status: when a candidate says they are “Not looking right now”, their profile is marked as complete.

Merged accounts: Schrole schools who move onto Tes Staff Management can seamlessly merge accounts.

Request references: users can now request referee details from candidates from within the ATS.

Post code search: Tes Jobs users can now search for job advertisements using a post code.

Customisable template for scheduling an interview: users can now customise the email message that is sent from the ATS when they want to schedule an interview with a candidate.

School page banner resolution updates: users can now upload higher resolution banner images to their school page.

Increased the number of prompted references: By default, all candidates that apply through Tes Jobs are asked to provide two completed references or two completed referee details.

Data segmentation (UK): Candidate information and data on dependents, housing and visa details are now hidden for UK users.

Multiple search locations: users can now add up to four different locations for their job adverts to appear in search results. This makes it easier for a job that is being advertised in multiple locations to be posted from one vacancy.

Override default display location: when creating a vacancy, users can override their default location to advertise their vacancy in another location. This is ideal for users who are a single school within a group.
