Further Mechanics 1 (2017 course Edexcel) Revision

Here is my attempt to structure questions for the new FM1 module. For use by giving to pupils and leaving them to it, or working through topics as a class. I have included Practice, specimen and sample assessment material to support the limited amount of new papers. I have also attached older questions from the old specification for more edexcel exam style question practice. If you like it, please share and give 5* :). Also works extremely well on iPads.

The pdf file allows students to independently learn and practise the A-level Young Modulus topic. Students use this pdf file on iPads/ tablets. Think of it as a very interactive text book, or a bit like Ceefax or Teletext from the olden days. Performance will vary through different apps and platforms. The Adobe Acrobat Reader is optimal on “single page view”, Outlook and OneNote are inferior. Also available as interactive eBooks; Moments of Inertia pV graphs for Engineering Adding Resistors A level GCSE Energy GCSE Radioactivity GCSE Electricity bennyjohn5@hotmail.com

(compare fuels, food and drink, lightning, AA batteries, etc...) Work done by a constant force (not necessarily acting in the direction of motion) Gravitational Potential Energy Kinetic Energy Work done by variable forces (using integration) Elastic Potential Energy
