DNA - Performing Scripts and Technical Design

Using Dennis Kelly’s DNA this scheme of work guides students though analysing text to create character and perform with scripts. There are also weekly lessons on Technial design for students who wish to pursue that avenue though these can be removed if needed. Each lesson students focus on a different aspect of creating a scene and character from a script or on a different aspect of technical design. They use these activities to build up to performing a fully realised performance of a scene from DNA. There is a set of key words attached to this scheme and weekly homework tasks to learn those key words using the freyer model with built in retrieval tasks each lesson for students. This scheme was design with the use of Teams and OneNote but all resources such as OneNote pages and Quizzes have been included as PDF documents which can be used as worksheets.
