A great PowerPoint and resource bundle, all focusing on the character of Lady Macbeth. Included: - Powerpoint looking at character, key quotation, and how they would cast Lady Macbeth (2-3 lessons) - Another Powerpoint where students can choose how they would 'outfit' Lady Macbeth (I had students cut and stick each garment - there's hairstyles, dresses etc.- onto paper, then do a S&L presentation explaining their choices.) (another 2-3 lessons) - A worksheet asking students to look at the different persuasive techniques given to the character's speech - The sleepwalking scene is included - A cloze activity, translating the sleepwalking scene - An analysis 'mind map style' to break down the meanings within the sleepwalking speech. At KS3, this could easily be used as an 'introduction' to cover the character of Lady Macbeth, and completed analysis and exploration of an important Shakespearean character. At KS4, this is a helpful resource bundle for lower-mid ability students, who might need support and these resources to 'break down' the analysis of a character, and key quotations with ideas.
