This is a complete knowledge organiser and question bank for students studying The Globe, as part of the Elizabethan England Historic Environment (2026).
These resources have been designed around five factors of The Globe: Purpose, Puritans (and opposition), Patronage, Propaganda and Period fashions.

This year’s environment is The Globe. These lesson slides will take 3 weeks to deliver if teaching 3 50-minute lessons a week (approx 450 minutes).

This is a collection of two videos that demonstrate how to produce an effective answer to a 25-mark thematic that they will face in their A-Level OCR History exam. The guide focuses on trade unions and showcases my planning and a breakdown of the model answer. including what it does well and how to improve it. You may wish to ask students to improve the model answer.

Included within is a model answer, live modelling and write-up. This can be played in class and watched together or posted on a virtual learning platform for students to watch to support them with revision.

This is a 9-and-a-half-minute video guiding students through the 30-mark question that they will face in their A-Level OCR History exam. The guide focuses on trade unions and uses two passages that I created for the purpose of this video walkthrough and for classroom practice. The passages are about the Gilded Age in the USA.

This is a 5-minute video walkthrough guide to answering Question 4 from the AQA Conflict and Tension GCSE course. This is the 16-mark (+4 SPaG marks) essay question, which presents students with a statement and asks them how far they agree with this.
Included within is a model answer and a breakdown of that answer to see why it is successful. This can be played in class and watched together or posted on a virtual learning platform for students to watch to support them with revision. This answer would achieve a grade 9.
