This is a complete knowledge organiser and question bank for students studying The Globe, as part of the Elizabethan England Historic Environment (2026).
These resources have been designed around five factors of The Globe: Purpose, Puritans (and opposition), Patronage, Propaganda and Period fashions.
There are two resources in this revision pack:
Knowledge Organiser
- 3 pieces of knowledge per factor, distilled so that students aren’t subject to cognitive overload
- Linked conclusion that argues that PATRONAGE is always the most important factor
Knowledge bank
- Sets of questions that you can use to test students’ recall for each of the five factors
- Exports these to a Google Form, create false but believable answers, and question students as a self-marking homework.
This is perfectly paired with the lesson slides and student workbooklet for The Globe, also available on my TES Shop.
