Aimed at AQA triple and combined students, but would be suitable for all GCSE students. An interactive and differentiated display covering key words, explanations and rules of electrolysis. Key words and ions have been backed with velcro to allow interaction. There are definitions to pair up the key words with, stage descriptions and some exam style explanations - all colour coordinated for easy direction of students. Picture shows what it could look like although this is on a smaller board than originally planned

Originally created for use mid way through the Exploring Science Food Glorious Food topic (8A) as a recap, starter or plenary. Can be used as instructions suggests or as a slightly more tricky Right or Wrong answer. Use two large signs- Right or Wrong and have students purposely give a wrong answer if you hold up the "Wrong" sign or a "Right" answer - good was to differentiate between ability groups as you keep the brighter students on their toes.

Produced in the style of a Knights & Dragons game found on TES so long ago I can’t find the author to credit them, this game is played in pairs (player A and player B). Player As questions need to be printed on the back of Player Bs answers. Player Bs questions need to be printed on the back of Player As answers. I then laminate the boards. Players take turned to roll two dice to get coordinates for a question. The player then tried to answer the question. If they get it correct, they are allowed to mark it off their game card. If they don’t, their opponent can read out the answer and then if the first player rolls the same question again, they can attempt to answer. This can keep happening until they answer correctly and mark it off their card. Initial aim is to play it like bingo - first to a line. However I find students enjoy it that they keep going to a set time limit set by me and then the winner is the player with the most correct answers. This is just BIOLOGY only content. There is a similar version by me that covers the trilogy content also.

Taken straight from the specification, a series of questions and predetermined answers for use as a revision tool. Uses a very basic set up - approx 80 cards to be printed one sided. Includes Biology only topics which are clearly marked. Will admit there are HT only topics in the cards that are not marked as I teach all content to all my students. Designed to be used as a whole class QQT activity but could easily be adapted for small group quiz activity.

This is a revision resource for the previous AQA spec. It will be good for any classes being examined in June 2017. It is a booklet of 163 one-word or simple answer questions.
