This is the cover letter I used for a successful job application for the position of Assistant Headteacher. It demonstrates how to construct a personal statement using middle leadership skills, experiences and CPD, linking each of these to the progress of students. This complete lesson focuses on the cognitive interview within the Y12 memory topic using the AQA A Level psychology specification. It includes engaging tasks for students to take part in as well as informative exam technique support including student friendly mark schemes for self or peer assessment. This lesson includes: A detailed PowerPoint presentation on the cognitive interview with thorough teacher notes and fun engaging student activities. A role play activity where students become a police officer or an eye witness to an incident. 5 x eye witness incident scenarios. This is a powerpoint presentation of photographs of a successful Foundation application portfolio. The sheets are A1 in reality but they have been photographed and put into a presentation to show students preparing their own portfolio as guidance, example and discussion points. The portfolio was accepted to Central St Martins, along with other universities to study on a Foundation course.

A successful supporting statement used to apply for a Headteacher position. This resource would also be suitable and applicable for a Head of School position. This is also suitable to use for a position within a trust or federation, and demonstrates how to share your breadth of experience broken down into categories specific to those used in in job descriptions. I also have my husband come in each year and interview the children. I give them similar interview questions ahead for talk homework .
