This Assembly presentation talks the pupils through the importance of diversity and how their morning would not have been possible without it. From breakfast to getting ready for school and more. This assembly fascinates the children and is a great way to getting them to understand the importance of a mulitculteral world.
It is a detailed presentation that includes how diverse the UK is, how all our clothes, music and sport is so very diverse. It also talks about how to celebrate it and how to respect differences.
It also conatains a wonderful youtube clip from DIVERISTY, which is a great dance celebrating diversity itself.
I have used this as an assembly but it can easily be used for a class lesson.
