The infinitive construct form comes up a lot, in a variety of different forms. This clear and easy-to-understand worksheet describes how to spot them, and how to translate each different type, complete with real examples of each.
A selection of resources for the Biblical Hebrew GCSE curriculum, this bundle contains valuable worksheets focused on conjugations, exploring what they mean, how to identify them, how irregular verbs work, a comprehensive guide to the Niphal conjugation, and the infinitive construct and absolute. Your students will thank you!
Almost all students find it challenging to identify the conjugation of a particular verb. This easy guide picks out the main features of each conjugation, and through asking themselves the questions, the conjugation of every standard verb can be identified. Through practice, students will soon find themselves easily able to identify the conjugation, even without the aid of this valuable sheet.
Often seen as a somewhat abstract form, this worksheet contains everything a student needs to know about the infinitive absolute. It describes how to identify it, and what it may mean when it shows up. This will leave students confidently answering any question that may come up about this form.

In Task 1 students will read an informational text about the Ancient Hebrews and then find their way through a maze by answering true or false comprehension questions. If they answer the questions correctly they will reveal their first word.
In Task 2 students will use the same informational text to complete a crossword puzzle. Within the puzzle there are several hidden letters which will need to be unscrambled on the completion of the puzzle to reveal the second word.
In Task 3 students will have to cut out 27 timeline task cards before putting them in order from the earliest date to the most recent. When they have finished their task they can glue them onto the answer key which will reveal their third word.
In Task 4 students will have to find the missing words in a wordsearch puzzle before finding a hidden word from the letters that are left over in the puzzle. This hidden word is their fourth and final word.
Students can then complete their student answer key with the four words they revealed before checking with the teacher to see if they have escaped successfully.
