A 2-sided, attractively presented, fun worksheet for tutor time students to guess the logos and brands. Part 1 has 45 fairly well-known logos that the students have to guess and Part 2 has the alphabet created with the first letter from famous UK, American and international brands for the students to guess. There are ten quizzes in this pack presented in one colourful power point presentation. Quiz questions include a range of subjects including, Geography, History, Science, Art, Music, Food, Entertainment as well as some riddles and fun fact questions. Answers can be found at the end of each quiz. The quizzes were originally designed for a weekly competition between tutor groups during their Friday morning tutor time. Each quiz contains ten questions and lasts approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

This is a 10-20 minute assembly about the important issue of homelessness in the UK. It was originally a Year 8 tutor time PSHE session but it can be used as an assembly or easily lengthened for a whole PSHE or Citizenship lesson for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13). It has two downloaded video clips that will never disappear and one centres around StreetLink and the other on homelessness in the UK’s second biggest city, Birmingham. A quick 20-30 minute activity which encourages students to solve problems that may occur on a desert island. Students should be organised into groups of around 6 and given a piece of sugar paper to write down their ideas. You should set the scene and get them imagine the island. Comments are appreciated.

This is a tutor time activity we have used across all year groups. Students discussed the questions (choosing slides appropriate to the year group) and created a large collection of tiny torn pieces of red/blue paper. You can then arrange these into the shape of the union flag to display as a representation of your school's attitude to British values.
