A 2-sided, attractively presented, fun worksheet for tutor time students to guess the logos and brands. Part 1 has 45 fairly well-known logos that the students have to guess and Part 2 has the alphabet created with the first letter from famous UK, American and international brands for the students to guess. I gave a time limit of 20 minutes for this activity with my form group and it worked quite well. Answers for both sides included!

The is a 9 week programme designed to encapsulate the key content in GCSE science. The programme using interleaving in order for pupils to revisit and cement their understanding of the key concepts. One of a series exploring raising standards. This series presents sessions that are very powerful and important tools in teaching what good behaviour looks like. They allow students to reflect deeply on why we have high standards in school, and encourage them to raise their standards. This session: Respect The session explores what respect is and what this looks like within their school context and the wider world. This includes discussions, a video and reflection task. This is a quiz that I created and used with my Year 7 tutor group all about chocolate! I have created a series of quizzes and as a tutor group we completed one each week. My tutor group worked in small groups and I kept track of their scores for a tutor group quiz league. I have created a series of quizzes on different topics, each one consists of 15 questions and has a slide with the answers at the end of it. This is a tutor time activity we have used across all year groups. Students discussed the questions (choosing slides appropriate to the year group) and created a large collection of tiny torn pieces of red/blue paper. You can then arrange these into the shape of the union flag to display as a representation of your school's attitude to British values.
