This is a taster session designed to give students an understanding of Criminology at Applied Level. It was designed for the WJEC Level 3 course but the slide containing information about content and exams could easily be altered. The activities explore crime scenes, a brief introduction to criminal theory and potential career pathways.

These resources are designed to help students as they prepare for their WJEC Level 1/2 Engineering Unit 3 exam. There are 2 resources included:
A large revision guide/text book style PowerPoint that covers all 12 of the assessment criteria in detail. This resource can be printed to allow for independent study and revision at home, or used in lessons to teach from. This 83 page PowerPoint is packed with content and has been specifically written to be accessible, while being thorough enough support those aiming for the top grade boundary.
The second PowerPoint contains a task or two for each of the assessment criteria. This document is intended for use by the teacher and includes some notes and suggestions to support lessons.
My hope is that with these 2 PowerPoints all the theoretical content for the Unit 3 examination can be taught and worked through in a classroom activity. I hope you find these resources useful.

Designed for WJEC GCSE Biology as an easy-to-use booklet/PowerPoint resource. The booklet follows the Ppt. and covers everything students need to know for this section of the specification. This was done for an adult evening class where time was at a premium, but could be easily adapted for a series of lessons in a standard classroom environment.
I have created similar resources for the whole specification.
This lesson guides pupils through the GCSE synthesis question with a starter activity looking at how the synthesis question is worded. Pupils then look at an example of a synthesis response that would be awarded full marks (not linked to any text they have looked at) to work out how to set out answer. Pupils will then complete a synthesis question and peer assess their answers. There is also a lesson plan attached with the resources and the standard of the lesson was considered ‘excellent’ when observed.
