This is a pack of four revision mats for the exploring science year 8 physics units. In the pack are mats for - 8I - Fluids 8J - Light 8K - Energy Transfers 8L - Earth and space. They can be used alongside the textbooks, the summary sheets from the exploring science range, or even just in class as revision or a blended learning tool.

A lesson for those following EDEXCEL 9-1 physics, but can be adapted to use for other exam boards. It also follows the TEEP lesson plan process, but these banners can be taken out of the slides if you wish. The exam question comes from a freely available past exam paper which can be gotten online. The videos are hosted on youtube, and can easily be changed if required for another to suit class ability. You would need to open this in powerpoint 16 and not in 365 to view the video content automatically.

This is something that I prepared and used with a triple science group to get them thinking about how to make a good hypothesis. It shows a bad example, a good example and a better example while asking the pupils to identify how to make them better along the way. Also introduces the criteria for gaining marks in the planning stage of this controlled assessment. Please leave feedback, adapt and use as you like!
