An excellent resource for AQA GCSE History – Conflict and Tension in Asia 1950 - 1975. 23 pages long and in lots of detail! This has been incredibly useful for my KS4 students while teaching the topic. They use it as a revision guide, but it is also broken down into clear sections in chronological order of how it is taught: Knowledge Organiser 1 – Context – The Cold War Knowledge Organiser 2 - The origins and causes of the Korean War Knowledge Organiser 3 - The events of the Korean War Knowledge Organiser 4 - The significance of the Korean War Knowledge Organiser 5 – The outcomes of the Korean War Knowledge Organiser 6 – Origins of the Vietnam War Knowledge Organiser 7 – Ngo Dinh Diem etc. I will be uploading my GCSE Asia Unit of Work over the next few weeks; each lesson links to each section on the knowledge organiser which makes it even more digestible for the students. This revision guide includes key words highlighted in a different colour throughout with a key word box on each section of the knowledge organiser and images to support the detailed information presented.

A great resource - double sided A3 filled with detailed information on key dates, people and events as well as ‘killer facts’ to remember for the AQA GCSE History module - Norman England. Covers overview of key content needed for the whole module: Who were the Godwins, who were the Normans, Norman conquest and control, rivals to the throne, William prepares to invade, Battle of Fulford Gate, Battle of Stamford Bridge, Battle of Hastings, why did William win and William’s rule (Feudal System, Domesday Book, Norman castles, religion, law and order, rebellions and resistance, Norman villages and towns and how did life change. This has been super useful for my students going through this the night before an assessment or an exam. I have also completed a much more detailed Norman knowledge organiser (also in my shop) but this double sided A3 is a more condensed and concise guide for students to help them.

Contains a concise and detailed sequence of events on Kaiser’s Germany and the impact of World War One, creation of the Weimar Republic, Ebert and Stresemann Years, Hitler’s rise to power and life in Nazi Germany (women, education, youth groups, propaganda, terror, religion, persecution, employment schemes and programmes. This has been super useful for my students going through this the night before an assessment or an exam. I have also completed a much more detailed Germany knowledge organiser (also in my shop) but for some students they needed a more concise and condensed guide which is this double sided A3.

A great resource - double sided A3 filled with detailed information on key dates, people and events as well as ‘killer facts’ to remember for the AQA GCSE History thematic module - Health and the People. Presented in chronological order as a timeline - goes through all key chronological periods of history and key themes: Hippocrates and Galen, who would treat you in the Middle Ages, what was Medieval surgery like, impact of Christianity in the Middle Ages, how did Islam affect medicine, Medieval public health, the Black Death, Renaissance (Vesalius, Pare and Harvey), 1600’s, Great Plague, 1700’s, 18th century - Jenner and Hunter, 19th century - Germ Theory, development in surgery and antiseptics, public health - Chadwick, Snow and the Great Stink and 20th and 21st century - development of penicillin, impact of world wars, development in drugs and treatment and public health (Rowntree, Booth, Liberal Reforms and the creation of the NHS). This has been super useful for my students going through this the night before an assessment or an exam. I have also completed a much more detailed Health and the People knowledge organiser (also in my shop) but some students needed a more condensed and concise knowledge organiser which is this double sided A3 document :)
