GCSE smart progress tracker

(0)
A simple to use but powerful tracker sheet for groups of any size taking GCSE Music. his resource is useful for both Heads of Department and for individual teachers. It collates information from all areas of the course and and predicts grades based on a variety of factors. The formulae take in to account at what stage of the course work is submitted and what kind of work it is. If you are Excel savvy you can alter settings to suit your particular needs but the default settings work well. It is set up to work with Edexcel but will work well with AQA and could be adapted to work with any exam board.

This is resource for all students and teachers doing any board and particularly for study at GCSE, IGCSE, AS/A Level, Pre-U etc. You enter the tonic and the tonality (Major/minor) in to the boxes at the top and the spreadsheet then shows all the chords (and the notes in them including some common 7ths) in all the related keys. It returns whether these chords are themselves major, minor, augmented or diminished and gives appropriate advise on using them in the context of chordal, and particularly Bach Chorale, writing. An additional function allows you to automatically highlight all the chords which include a note you specify. I have protected the sheet so that you cannot accidentally delete formulae and so that you can only change the content of the three necessary cells. The password is ‘Bach’. Hope it is of some help.
