This is resource for all students and teachers doing any board and particularly for study at GCSE, IGCSE, AS/A Level, Pre-U etc.
You enter the tonic and the tonality (Major/minor) in to the boxes at the top and the spreadsheet then shows all the chords (and the notes in them including some common 7ths) in all the related keys.
It returns whether these chords are themselves major, minor, augmented or diminished and gives appropriate advise on using them in the context of chordal, and particularly Bach Chorale, writing.
An additional function allows you to automatically highlight all the chords which include a note you specify.
I have protected the sheet so that you cannot accidentally delete formulae and so that you can only change the content of the three necessary cells. The password is ‘Bach’.
