Who are we? Are we born this way? How does primary and secondary socialisation affect us? This bundle is aimed at year 9 health and social care students but would also work well for sociology students. Modelled on the first award unit 4, this small topic prepares students to progress onto the new tech award. This bundle includes 5 lessons and a coursework style assessment. Activities have differentiation by outcome with clear reference to different assessment criteria, helping your students to understand the command approach to BTEC.

This is a bundle of documents to do the role play assignment for learning aim B, component 2. These are based on two role play scenarios where the case studies are included. If you have bought my learning Aim A resources it follows on from the assignment there but can be used without doing the previous two clients. Included is a structured writing frame for you to provide feedback and a comment bank to speed the process up. Each value has a role play scenario to work with. Note- the two scenarios are based on ‘Change Point’ a multi-service center for obesity and a respite care home. Client needs are obesity and Down’s Syndrome.

Designed to support students who are taking a resit, those who have not revised or lower ability students aiming for level 1 criteria (secure the basics). Contents include key terms, exam structure support, impact of factors, actions to improve health and obstacles to actions. This is a resource that includes information and some short revision tasks with answers. I have created this resource to top up knowledge of students who are retaking the exam after their first set of results. If you have only just started teaching component three then my revision/homework booklets may be more suitable to ensure depth of understanding.
