Modes of Transportation: Lesson Plan, Flashcards + Explanation/Long form description of lesson
TEFL: English Lesson for Beginners.
I first developed this resource for the purposes of assessment during my TEFL Course.
The lesson plan, therefore, is clear and crisp, and follows the pattern of presentation, production and practice of 8 different modes of transport, designed for a mono-lingual group of children aged between six and eight: all possessing the same ability at Beginner level. The sole primary objective/s of the lesson is
-to enable students to understand and use the vocabulary to indicate transport and travel.
-identify different means of transport: aeroplane, bus, train, car, rocket, bicycle, boat, walk/on foot.
There is also a document explaining the logic, implementation and thinking behind the lesson plan.
I know that this lesson plan took time and thought and therefore, decided to share to aid, inspire and assist other TEFL teachers.
