Description of the activity
The activity:
The purpose of the activity is to explore eight different WW2 propaganda posters. Ideally, this is group work as it is important children are discussing their opinions aloud. The activity worksheet has the propaganda pictures and spaces for children to write their answers depicting what they think the main message of the poster is, and why might the government had wanted to communicate this.
A dive deeper challenge is provided too: to design their own poster for one of these war messages.
