Talk and discuss the life cycle of a caterpillar, this works well if you have real life caterpillars to use in the classroom and discuss what stage the caterpillar are at and what will the next stage be. Get the children to draw their own life cycle and write the words with support they can then make their own butterfly as shown at the end.

Great to use as a revisit of sounds and the children in my class loved playing it!
