A menu in German along with picture clues for the menu and price labels. Could be used for many things, although I am going to use this to initiate and encourage free conversation based on restaurant language we have learnt over the last few weeks. I used this lesson with a middle lower set of Year 8's but should be easy enough to adapt. For the practical part of the lesson, I used water, salt water, vinegar, apple juice, bleach and soapy water. The match up task can be done as a cut and stick onto the table or if there is less time, a colouring activity using the six colours from the UI pH scale. Feedback is gratefully received - Thanks!

A resource I designed for my lower ability Year 7's. This takes them through the issues we would have if we were to live on Mars. It gives them a little bit of information and then gives them a space to think of solutions before asking them to produce a poster with the design of their house - in this case for a display. A writing frame for a PowerPoint presentation on describing timetables - including gaps for times, subjects, teachers and opinions - designed for use by Year 7's. There are two extension slides included, which encourage pupils to talk about previous days lessons and also future lessons. Hope you find this useful, my first attempt at a language resource - I do humbly apologise for any inadvertant mistakes - I'm sure they are easily rectifiable! This is a starter and task designed for my low ability Year 7 class. The starter allows students to match energy types with corresponding pictures. After a short introduction to energy transfers, the class will use the word cards to fill in the table with energy going in to objects and then the types of energy that come out of the objects. The cards could be used as cut and stick or as prompts for spelling. Feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks!

A graded task for students to complete independently - you could direct them to a particular food test or else they can choose their own to complete this task for. Can also be used as a self or peer assessed task.

This is a ready made display in PowerPoit format complete with links, qr codes, pictures of neurodiverse individuals associated with STEM and some information about those individuals. This would make an inclusive and positive display for any educational environment.

A lesson resource with levelled objectives and tasks. Also contains mini plenaries and slides which can be printed and used as worksheets. Easily tweakable to higher or lower level groups.

A research resource for Year 7's. Pupils can use the website to research a particular group of animals in teams of two or three. I would then ask them to present their findings to the rest of the class, using an A3 printed copy of their poster. The question sheets can be used to ensure that relevant information is included on the posters and can then be used by other students to summarise the other teams posters. This can be easily changed to be suitable for plant classification, although I do not yet have a good website for a decent research on plants. Feedback is gratefully received, thanks.
