The first in a series of 6 booklets covering the new maths skills requirements in biology for all exam boards. This booklet covers appropriate units, decimal and standard form, ratios, fractions and percentages, estimating and power, exponential and logarithm functions. (M0.1-0.5 as detailed in the spec.). Included are the listed maths requirements as per the specification for pupils to tick off, clear notes on each section, worked examples AND practice questions. I can provide an answer sheet for your students if you wish. It can be used as a stand alone resource or incorporated into specific topics as the need for maths skills arise. It is in worksheet form but it could easily be pasted onto a powerpoint.
