This resource can be used as a main activity or plenary and will allow students to correctly explain mathematical keywords. One student will stand in front of the class, turned away from the board. The class will then have to describe the word on the board, allowing the student standing to guess the word. The key is how well they can explain/describe the word. This is suitable for students right through from Year 7 to Year 11. Any extra words can also be added to the resource. Great as an End of Year maths game!

This resource is designed to give students great practice when carrying out surds related calculations. There are a mixture of questions. To add a bit of fun, students will crack the code, from their answers, to form the lyrics of a popular song. For a bonus, the teacher can get the students to write down the name of the song and artist related to the lyrics. Valentines Day Edition includes specific love songs! Ready for the season!

Journaling For Young Adults - The Beginning

The purpose of this book is to pose some essential questions, which will hopefully allow you to get a better understanding of yourself. There are no right answers to these questions. What is important is that you answer them honestly, and in line with your gut, not your mind. There is no pressure to complete these questions within a certain time frame, or on a daily basis (I would actually advise leaving a gap between journaling days). Take some time out and connect with your inner self whenever you feel the calling. I would recommend being in a quiet environment, where you cannot be distracted away from yourself.
