An all-in-one powerpoint lesson for students studying the poem 'Tissue'. The lesson has opportunities for analysis: independent, class and group work. There is also a comparative writing task included to support writing proficiency for exam style questions. Resources for the lesson are included in the ppt and can be printed off and then copied on A4 or A3. Included is a comprehensive, stanza by stanza analysis (exploring content, language, structure, power and conflict relevance) for the teacher who can adapt this to use in the lesson or for use as it is. Checklists for students are based on new specification mark schemes and support main examination boards. The lesson is structured for students aiming for level 6-9 but can be easily adapted for levels below this.
