Good when looking at the 'air' sound as the last apply session as children often miss 'air' as a trigraph and say 'ai' then 'r' separately. Tell them in the input that magic 'r' on the end of 'ai' turns it into the trigraph 'air', a top secret trick. The words are cut up before the activity. The child blends the words and decides whether to put them in the 'ai' or 'air' section of the table.
