It's a beautiful looking ppt which I'll be using with a low/mixed ability SEMH class of Year 7s. I've taken the liberty of tinkering and added a slide here and there to cater to their needs. Otherwise it looks like it will challenge them all and has the potential for differentiation based on adding tailored handouts.

Our focus isn't on Blake so much as it's on the subject of poetic techniques and the message of the poem. In that context, it's perfectly suited.

I'm surprised to find such a decent resource from back in '09!
Some nice graphics and ideas, but a misconception here. I think it's a little misleading to say that Blake was extremely religious: he was very much against organised religion and very unusual in his religious views. He believed in nudism and that the Old Testament God was tantamount to the devil. The Tyger is usually considered to be a representation of the power and terror of the human imagination; some critics like Tom Paulin have argued he represents the French Revolution...

The graphics here are good and the mix and match exercises etc will engage the less able...
Poetry Blake . An excellent introduction to Blake with practical exercises for students.
