I told the children that they were going to a deserted island, and they could only take a select number of people with them. I gave each table a set of island cards, and between them they had to choose which people to take with them and why, based on their age, gender, personality, etc. I also made a record sheet for myself to see who the children wanted to take. There is a writing frame as well which the children completed giving their opinion.
