Ceri, national winner of the 2006 Guardian award for teacher of the year in a secondary school, uses a variety of games and challenges to excite and entertain his audience of pupils. The lesson provides science teachers with some concrete and accessible ways to teach the topic of DNA - one of the most complicated and abstract ideas in science.

A brilliantly planned and taught lesson. An amazing way to introduce the genetic code to students.

Interactive masterclass which demonstrates how the genetic code on DNA instructs a cell to construct proteins. Billed as KS4, the techniques used and ideas presented are just as applicable to teaching Advanced level Biology.
