PPT and follow up resources for a lesson using 'spaced learning' technique to explore the causes of WWI. Detailed notes about delivery for those who haven't used this technique before are provided in word doc. It's great fun and you might be surprised how good the students' memories are even a week later. http://www.tes.co.uk/article.aspx?storycode=6007881

Used this as a powerpoint for a lesson (not spaced learning, didn't have a double period) but found it a fantastic resource - really engaging, well pitched and great animation!

Sorry but the old fashioned explanation for explaining the origins of WW1 in this powerpoint was discredited 20 years ago. The once trendy technique used might be fun but spending most of a history lesson juggling (to allegedly process information unconsciously ) is not what many would consider productive.

This is a fun idea and gives a comprehensive study to the background to declarations of war.
