This year 12 revision lesson looks at the reasons for economic decline in the USSR during the 1980s and is designed to be taught as part of the ‘Lenin to Yeltsin 1917-1991’ unit of the Edexcel A Level History spec.
The resource has been designed to be used as part of a recap of content, rather than an initial teaching, as the task on slide 5 will require either an existing level of knowledge or a textbook resource.
There is an exam style question at the end to help consolidate learning.
