Adaptation to different habitats card sort

Pupils are put into groups of four and given a four cards. These four cards describe four different adaptations of one animal. Placed around the room are four different habitats. Based on the adaptations described, the groups have to decide which environment they live in and go stand by it. Then then have to say what animal they think they might be. The worksheets are optional. They give a framework for the pupils to write notes. There is an accompanying prezi.com presentation which goes through the environments and shows images of the animals.
