Part III of a short series of slides for GCSE Physics students, aimed at addressing knowledge gaps from Key Stage 3. Each set of supplementary slides features a short reteach, a check phase and some written questions. They are designed to be inserted into normal lessons and aim to take less than 10 minutes each to complete.

This resource introduces circuit symbols which are less commonly used at KS3 but are needed for GCSE such as LEDs and fuses. Students will practice recognising the symbols and describing what the components do in simple terms.

  • All abilities
  • Classes who have studied this topic before but need a refersher
  • SEND with working memory challenges
