Alfie Brown's Crazy Day

This is a resource for EAL/ESL learners in Years 4 - 6 (ages 8 - 11). It is often hard to find short, easy, repetitive stories for older pupils who are new to English. This story recounts Alfie’s day using common Past Simple verbs. It can be used to help learners talk about their activities in the past. It can be linked to the topic of Healthy Eating. There are also written exercises based on the story and two games. The story is given as a power point.
