My year 2 class have loved An Alien in the Jam Factory by Chrissie Sains.
Before they have read each chapter, I have given them a vocabulary check task so we can discuss any new/tricky vocabulary and after they have read the chapter I have given them a 4-5 question comprehension check to ensure they are understanding as well as enjoying it.
I thought I would share these vocab. checks and comprehension checks in case they are useful for anyone else.
