This is a mystery lesson where the students are not told who the subject of the lesson is. They have to use the clues to solve the mystery. I placed them in groups of four for the task and told them that they are detectives for the duration of the lesson. My Year 9 (mixed ability) class loved it. I gave out kitkat for the winners.

Thank you, this has inspired me for our first lesson on Anne Frank in year 4! I will be adapting and using - I think the children will love this lesson!
