I’ve created this planning sheet to assist/support my lower-band students; many don’t see the value of planning and their mind-maps can often become disjointed, however, this ‘boxed off’ strategy seems to be working better!
This is a Word Document which can be edited in terms of which creative/descriptive elements you want them to focus on.
I’ve left the questions/which medium they’re writing for blank on this template but I would write a specific question and discuss the medium (i.e. magazine, creative writing website, etc.) when setting it.
