Second part contains room for them to write their scores from the tests on the website and any corrections.to learn from! Its a lesson in a can straight off the shelf and useful for revision!

An outstanding bridging unit for Year 9 pupils based on the material released from AQA on 'Biomimicry'. The unit has been used for a six week half term for Year 9 pupils to introduce them to concepts and skills that appear at GCSE and to bridge the gap. The unit includes an overview, lesson plans and PowerPoints for 24 lessons. The worksheets and homeworks can be obtained from the AQA website.
I have taken the common 6 mark questions seen in the GCSE Core examinations and adapted them into a 6 mark AFL style question - this can be done as a starter/plenary in lessons to ensure pupils look at question command words, key words and exam technique. You can add or remove the key words depending on the group and use the answers for self and peer assessment.
These have proved invaluable for the current exams and have had positive feedback from pupils
These can be adapted to fit with any syllabus and the new GCSE specifications
