This school assembly consists of a powerpoint with accompanying walk-through notes explains what stalking is and why it is so dangerous. The assembly links to the impactive video about Alice Ruggles who was stalked and then murdered by an ex-partner, but there is an option to replace this with an animated video which is less hard-hitting. By the end of the assembly students should be able to recognise what stalking is and understand it should be taken seriously, know where to go for support or information if they think they are being stalked and know how to help a friend or family member who they think may be at risk .

We’ve also included a handout/poster of sources of help for victims

The assembly complements the Alice Ruggles Trust’s existing PSHE Association-Accredited Relationship Safety Resource and can be delivered in person or online, by school staff or volunteers from the Alice Ruggles Trust. Please contact us atalicerugglestrust.org for further information.
