Team Margot Foundation and NHS Blood and Transplant have added a new comprehensive lesson plan for KS2 pupils on blood and stem cell donation. Explore why and how people can help each other in more depth, and that donation is one way adults can help each other.

This lesson plan further adds to the whole primary school assembly and is an additional module to their ‘Giving to help others’ website of free primary school suite of educational resources.

These curriculum-linked resources are easily downloadable directly from the givingtohelpothers.org website. They comprise of a card sorting activity sheet and PowerPoint slides comprising of a 2 minute animated video and comprehensive teacher notes, so no pre-work is required.

We are very proud to announce that this lesson resource has been rigorously assessed by the PSHE Association and it was awarded their Quality Mark, assuring teachers that they meet the ten principles of effective PSHE education.
