Lesson starter or plenary. Show each slide in turn. Pupils have to describe what they see and explain what is happening 'Now', just 'Before the Now', then 'Before the before' etc. Leads to discussion about living things and respiration, photosynthesis, death and decomposition. i.e. processes in the carbon cycle.
