#### Research Project Preparation

Some detailed lessons and other student resources on research methods which were originally tailored for an Access to HE Course but will also be useful for students embarking on an EPQ or for A-Level students who are exploring research methods.
There are two versions of an interactive tutorial lesson, one aimed at health and another aimed at sociology research projects.
There are activities on questionnaire writing, interviews, data analysis, ethics and report writing structure. These resources would need to be delivered over a series of lessons.
They will need adjusting to suit learners needs.

#### Planning an investigation

This is a PowerPoint and worksheet to help students develop their skills at writing up an experiment/investigation.
The PowerPoint
I would suggest that this is split up into different sections for use over several lessons with relevant practical work. I have given my suggestions on how it can be separate by highlighting headings of slides in bold for each new lesson. Any slides that students have to respond to have an "activity" sign in the top right corner of the slide.
The Worksheet
I have written this to match up with the format of the PowerPoint. I would expect students to complete this over several lessons or independently. It can be used as a writing frame to help students develop there planning and processing of the written aspects of any experiment/investigation. I have separated the pages into sections, planning, carrying out the investigation, and review of investigation. You can give more able students all pages at once (or none) and stagger release of the pages for those students who need more support.
If your students are struggling with drawing graphs, please check out the how to draw a graph pack in my shop.
As always any feedback is welcome.

#### AQA (NEW) Research Methods Revision ppt. Year 1/2

I've used at least 3 AQA approved textbooks to create this powerpoint which goes through AS and A2 Research Methods in a concise and colourful way. Information is clearly displayed in charts, diagrams or imagery. I would use this as a revision tool or introduction to RM.
The specification has been followed.
Includes 22 slides, a large mindmap image, a large comparison table of all experiment types (including self report and observation) and 2 infographics.
Price reflects time and effort involved in creating. Sorry!
