Circuit Diagram Creator

This is an Excel spreadsheet that generates, fairly easily, good quality circuit diagrams that you can copy and paste as images into your Word or PowerPoint files. Be warned that you will need a little bit of familiarity with Excel to make it work, and it will produce complete garbage if you don’t treat it nicely! This is why I am not putting a price on it.

It took me only about 15 minutes to use it to produce the ridiculous circuit diagram that I have put as the cover image. To make the sort of circuits you need for day-to-day teaching it is obviously much quicker than that! I have already used it for producing circuit diagrams for a Y7 scheme and for our Y11 into Y12 transition pack, and it made the process MUCH easier.

It is targeted at Physics, not Electronics, so the circuit symbols are the ones that you come across in the 11-18 Physics curriculum in the UK.

I am including two versions: a version with a simple series circuit set up, and a version with a stupidly complicated circuit set up to try to illustrate how it all works.
