The spreadsheet is formatted so that anything below 7 is displayed as red, 7 is orange and 8 or above is green (out of 10). It also calculates the average spelling score which is displayed at the bottom of the page.
So, if as a class the average is over 8 out of 10 they get a reward etc. or however you choose to use it. Good template to quickly identify students that require differentiated instructional strategies.
