Classification guess who

Fun starter activity for the topic of classification, to get pupils thinking about ways to group animals. Pupils play 'guess who?' using the sheet, instructions are listed at the bottom of the page.\nInstructions for use:\nThe game is played in pairs. Each pupil has a copy of the sheet and picks an animal before the start of the game. Pupils then take turns asking questions of each other to guess their opponent’s animal.\nI laminated the pages and had pupils play using whiteboard pens but other teachers I know printed on paper and had the pupils perform a cut and paste activity after playing.
